This is a test article. I changed some settings and wanted to see how they appear in the email. I want people to visit the site rather than read the entire post in their email.

I have several plans for going forward on this site.

I will write a series of posts based on the Global Partners Preparation Handbook to help drive interest in becoming involved with future global partners. I plan to get input from others who are experts in various fields.

I’ve also started a series, with the help of others, on things we, as a Commission on Global Partners, feel are important that the churches are informed about. It is listed in our Missions Handbook, but the people who need it never see that Handbook.

I am also going to insert bios on different global partners as they come up for recognition for service. Many of these people cannot attend Connect during the summer, so we will recognize them this way. These bios will also be linked to the FEBC website, http://www.fellowshipforward.org. And, of course, the bios are written by everyone on our Commission on Global Partnerships.

Please respond if you have any questions or comments.

Meet the team…

Welcome to FEBC Global Blog Site. We are the Commission on Global Partnerships. As a Commission as a whole, we seek to encourage local churches in their service to their global partners and in raising up new global partners.

Each individual on the Commission desires to encourage the global partners on their list and keep them abreast of what is happening within the Fellowship that might affect them. The members of the Commission are also encouraged to pray for the global partners on their list.

Members of the Commission are:

Doyle Lester, Omaha, Community Bible Church

Marilynn Lester, Omaha, Community Bible Church

Rob Quiring, Omaha, Crosspoint Bible Church

Roger Reimer, member, Omaha, Crosspoint Bible Church, living in Medford, Oregon

Amanda Tuttle, Hebron, NE, Hebron Bible Church
