Jim Davis was born in Eugene, Oregon, and spent his ministry life serving the Northern Canada Evangelical Mission. Jim attended Lewis and Clark College for four years.
Marian was born in Beechy, Saskatchewan and attended Bethany Bible Institute for three years, University of Saskatchewan for four years, and had a one-year internship.
Jim and Marian were married in 1986 and started their journey as global partners in 1995. They worked in Canada serving the First Nations people in IT, personnel, camp ministry, hosting and other areas of ministry in the church and community. Within the sending agency they were members of NCEM Executive in 2022-2024.
Jim and Marian felt honored to serve as cross-culture partners in North America. They raised their children as 3rd culture kids in the First Nation community. Jim and Marian also had many opportunities to serve and disciple First Nation youth who lived in their home during high school.
Presently, Jim and Marian are attending the Community Bible Church in Prince Albert where Jim serves as elder. They enjoy cross-country skiing, as well as biking and reading.
